Basic Income Pilot

The Welsh Government basic income pilot is underway and focuses on care leavers who reach their 18th birthday in a 12-month period between 1 July 2022 and 30th June 2023

The pilot will run for a minimum of three years with each member receiving a basic income payment for a duration of 24 months from the month after their 18th birthday
