Welcome to Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot
Citizens Advice in the local area dates back to 1939. In 2012 the bureau changed its name following a merger with Neath Port Talbot C.A.B. to Swansea Neath Port Talbot Citizens Advice Bureau. In 2015 the local service became known as Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot with the wider re-branding changes across the Citizens Advice Service.
We offer free, confidential and impartial service; and can advise on all aspects of the law, including your rights and responsibilities.
The advice service that we provide is available to everyone, regardless of ethnic origin, age, religious beliefs, disability, health status, sexuality, gender, and language.

Our commitment is to you, and to providing you with an efficient service, that’s why we are introducing new measures to help reduce waiting time, make our service easier to reach and to be there for you when you need us the most. During 2016 we have run a number of experiments to ‘test’ out new ways of delivering the service – feedback is always helpful to us especially when changes are needed to ensure those who need our help can access it. We know some people only need some information or a guiding hand or for us to check over things they have already done like letters and forms but that some people need more time and support.
What we can help with:
♦ Welfare Benefits
♦ Employment/Work related issues
♦ Health services
♦ Family and Relationships
