Originally from Swansea Caroline graduated from Bournemouth University then moved to London working in the hospitality industry. As well as developing her love of food, Caroline developed an interest in supporting people to realise and achieve their goals. In 1991 she moved back to Wales and worked at Coleg Sir Gar progressing to the post of Assistant Principal with the primary goal of increasing income from non-core sources. Caroline never lost that interest in supporting people and after 27 years in education left the college to explore opportunities in the third sector where she could use her business skills to continue to help people. She joined Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot in February 2021 and in her spare time volunteers with Cancer Research Wales, enjoys walking and experimenting with food.
Jayne qualified and worked as a solicitor until she decided to join the third sector where she has been working at Citizens Advice for over 21 years. Jayne was based at Neath Citizens Advice until it merged with Port Talbot Citizens Advice in 2011. Eventually she made the move to the Swansea Office when Swansea merged to become Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot and where she has shaped Core service delivery.
Julie started her career journey in engineering. After working in Guyana, South America as a VSO volunteer, she returned to the UK and changed careers from being a volunteer to supporting volunteers at Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot. Julie now supports the organisation by managing mostly non-advice based day to day activities and supporting the trustee board at meetings and events.
Pat joined the staff of CASNPT in 2018 and leads on equity, diversity & inclusion; training; research & campaigns; and volunteer development. She has over 30 years’ experience of working in and with the third sector including roles with Calan DVS, Welsh Refugee Council, Nacro, Save the Children, Communities that Care and the People and Work Unit. Pat has also been an active volunteer for the past 45 years in a variety of roles and is currently a trustee with NPT Children’s Rights Unit.
