If you have time on your hands while you are looking for work why not consider volunteering for us?

Our volunteers are at the heart of Citizens Advice in Swansea Neath Port Talbot. Without them our service simply wouldn’t exist. They play a key role in helping clients with a wealth of issues, such as benefits, debts, relationship advice, immigration, housing and many more.

We offer comprehensive training for volunteers. There are a number of possible opportunities: for example…

  • Volunteer Adviser
  • Volunteer Adviceline/Call Centre Worker
  • Email adviser
  • Volunteer Reception Worker
  • Administration Assistant
  • IT Support
  • Trustee Board member
  • Social Policy Worker

Some of our volunteering opportunities can be short term or flexible in terms of hours.  To be a competent and confident adviser you may be expected to provide more regular hours.

We are currently recruiting to all roles.

Any questions? Please fill in the contact form below or email us at:

We will then contact you and invite you to an Information Session which we will be running regularly.

We regularly run volunteer information sessions which are designed to give potential candidates more information about the volunteer process, the roles we offer, the training we provide and answer any questions that you may have.
